Screw Conveyors
The simplest way of dust proof conveying of powdery or small lumpy materials over a short distance is by Screw Conveyor, Paddle conveyor or Ribbon Conveyor. Screw Conveyors are offered in U - trough or Tubular casings. Adequate clearance between screw and casing prevents jamming and reduce power consumption. Large screws up to 12m long are offered without hanger bearing, as hanger bearings usually create flow problem and is a maintenance hazard. Screw flights are hard-faced according to requirement for long life. Bearing housings arrangements are self centering type or the conventional plummer block type.
