Classifier Mill
An air classifier mill combines a mechanical impact mill with a dynamic air classifier. Ideal for large volume continuous processing, the mill is one of today's most widely used grinding machines for reducing dry fine chemicals, food products, and other materials.
Working Principle:
The feed material is fed into the Classifier Mill. Size reduction is performed by the rotating elements and grinding path. The size-reduced material is diverted into the classifier wheel by air draft. Particles with the desired fineness are transported through the beater plates of the classifying wheel and transferred toward discharge. Coarse materials, rejected by the classifying wheel, are re-enters into the grinding zone for further grinding. Due to the infinitely adjustable speed of the grinding disc and classifier wheel, the desired end fineness and the particle distribution curve are easily adjustable.
